Behavioral Health

Behavior therapy word cloudPrinceton Rehabilitation and Health Care Center’s behavioral health program is designed to be secure, familiar and homelike to individuals who need psychiatric rehabilitation. The program offers two distinct programs by gender for people with chronic mental illnesses, with or without cognitive impairments.

Located in a facility that provides comprehensive rehabilitation and health care services, Princeton Rehabilitation and Health Care Center’s behavioral health program is staffed with a full complement of mental health professionals, including master’s-level clinicians and bachelor’s-degreed case managers with crisis management training.

A board-certified psychiatrist is on call 24 hours a day for consultation and treatment. The psychiatrist performs a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation upon admission and meets regularly with residents to oversee their progress.

Our structured programming creates a comfortable daily routine designed to manage symptoms and mitigate problematic behaviors, confusion and disorientation. Specially trained staff provide 24-hour care and focus on each resident’s unique issues and needs with the goal of helping them achieve the highest possible level of functioning and independence.
